Built to support any adventure, the Flare is an emergency headlamp that’s lightweight and compact, while remaining extremely robust. Featuring 40 lumens of dependable light that runs off two Lithium CR2032 batteries housed in a burly aluminum housing, the Flare stows easily in a chalk bag zip pocket, a glove box, or emergency kit and can be deployed in any weather thanks to its IP67 submersible waterproof construction. The low-profile headband keeps the Flare minimal yet secure when worn. In addition to it's low and full-strength white modes, the Flare includes red, strobe, and SOS modes to complete the Flare’s undisputed status as the ultimate emergency light at the ready for any mission.

Finally a simple headlight

I am wondering why all headlights are not this simple to use rather than the silly multi mode switches. I can turn this on with gloves on and expect it to last a long long time.

Nice compact simple back up head lamp. I routinely carry back up batteries and an extra light. I've had equipment fail out in the dark and it isn't fun. Nice to have one so compact and that can be worn as a headlamp.

Awesome

Light is tiny but great. Havenâ€™t had to change the batteries yet but have had to switch out a BD Storm 400. Get this one and need to find a different larger light.
